I guess I'll say it's about the lifestyle I'm trying to change. The computer, which changed into a metaphor of food. Yearning.

I had been a nice person for a long time
I ate no cookies, drank no pepsi
except for that one hid underneath my coat
Those parties, oh in my head my head
No matter what they say, i'm not crazy
I just want to live

No cuts or bruises here, Mary Bette
I can bet your life on that, been down that road
In a past life, or five

I sit in my room and read all the bestsellers
Which I read on that indie reading list
Just trying to fit in with the non popular ones
I have high ambitions

Mary Bette, Mary Bette
We know you're on our side now
You see orange butterflies in the dark

I love this, especially the 3rd stanza. I can relate to that.
